Students undertake an individual project within one of the many cutting edge research groups in the discipline of Chemistry, with project areas including synthetic chemistry, biological chemistry, physical and theoretical chemistry, materials chemistry, and medicinal chemistry.
Written report (50%; LO 1, 2, 3, 4)
Lab book (30%; LO 1, 2, 3, 4)
10-minute seminar (10%; 1,2,3,4)
Supervisor's assessment of research potential (10%; LO 1,2,3,4)
For a 6 unit course, 65hours of lab based research and 65hours of independent learning.
